Tea for a starter

One of my 2009 New Year's resolution is to learn how to drink a tea. Why? The fact that I don't like tea and I don't drink tea! It's the "woody" taste how I described it, the reason I can't take to even a sip of it. Maybe one reason is I drink coffee a lot? And have thought of what benefits am I getting from frequently drinking coffee? I told to myself that why not drinking tea instead of coffee? In short, I like to learn how to drink tea in substitute to coffee. I know it won't be easy especially for me, it's really not an easy thing. But I really liked to learn. Until a new friend of mine, a hard tea - drinker! Introduced me this tea. I really admire her, how she drinks tea, just like she's drinking glass of water. And of her pretty, smooth and younger looking skin. I'm not sure if it's because of the tea. It's a bonus then! If it's because of tea, it realy worth on learning to drink tea! She gave me a green tea bag, that she finds very light and mild in taste. She said I should try it and maybe I'll like it and good as starter for me. I kept the green tea pack for a months as I am nervous to start on it. Until I found time to prepared and tried it. It was really not that easy. She found it mild but for me it tasted strong. What I did, for me to finish the cup of tea to not to throw the rest of it, I put sugar on it. In a while, I was able to finished my first bag of green tea! For me it was an achievement hahaha! It was hard but I know I can do it from then. I have not stopped there. I should find a tea that I can drink without a sugar or creamer on it. Then, another friend, a frequent tea drinker as well, gave me this flavored tea. This tea even smells good because of its flavoring, huh I think I can take it now, it's flavored :). Finally, I found my matched! Here it is --- Four Red Fruits by Twinings. It's a black tea complimented with the flavored of Strawberry, cherry, Redcurrant and Raspberry. You should try other flavors as well.

Now I am on finishing my first box of 25 tea bags. :)
